After more than a decade of shaping Bentonville’s cycling culture, Mojo Bike Shop has officially been sold to Holly and Randall Anzalone, marking a thoughtful transition grounded in shared values, community commitment, and a deep love of bikes.
Since acquiring the shop in the early 2010s, David Neal helped grow Mojo alongside Bentonville’s rise as a nationally recognized cycling destination. Under his leadership, Mojo became more than a retail space. It was a welcoming hub for riders of all backgrounds, from first-timers and visitors to racers and lifelong locals, always championing the underdog and the belief that bikes make life better.
Neal’s impact extended far beyond the shop, supporting local trails, encouraging community involvement, and fostering an inclusive riding culture where bikes became tools for connection, confidence, and joy.
When it came time to step away, Neal was intentional about who would carry Mojo forward.
“The decision wasn’t about selling a business,” said Neal. “It was about finding the right people. The Anzalone family shares the same passion for cycling and the same people-first values that Mojo was built on.”
“We see Mojo as something to care for, not reinvent.”
Holly and Randall Anzalone bring deep roots in cycling culture, with strong ties to youth development, racing, and grassroots riding communities. They share Mojo’s long-standing goal of getting more people on bikes and using cycling to create positive change.
“We see Mojo as something to care for, not reinvent,” said Holly. “Our focus is honoring what’s been built and ensuring Mojo remains a place where everyone feels welcome on a bike.”
With this transition, Mojo becomes the first woman-owned bike shop in Arkansas and the sixth in the United States, reflecting the shop’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and representation in cycling.
Mojo Bike Shop will continue operating under the same name, with the same team and community-driven spirit that riders have trusted for years. As Bentonville continues to grow, Mojo remains a constant, built on heart, hard work, and the belief that bikes can change lives.
